A Lester & Charlie Investigation

In 2010, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Citizens United v. F.E.C. that corporations have the same rights as human beings when it comes to free speech. And that political campaign contributions are a form of free speech.

Corporate dollars began flooding Republican campaigns. The GOP won a majority in the House of Representatives. A corporation even ran for Congress.

Realizing the benefits of a corporate structure, people across the country have started adopting corporate personhood.

And this January, they're staging a "Corporate Emancipation Rally" in D.C.

Where is this taking us? When will it end?
